Frying pan (Period)

A frying pan is a flat, shallow metal vessel on a long handle, used for cooking food over a fire; it may also be termed a “skillet”.  It’s a period charge, found in the arms of von Scever or Schever, c.1370 [Gelre 109], and the canting arms [Italian padella] of dala Padela, mid-15^th C.
